Rob Abasolo is a former ad agency copywriter who spent 10 years in the creative world before Airbnb opened the door to something bigger—becoming a full-time real estate investor.
Today, he's the founder of Robuilt, the largest short-term rental platform in the world, with a YouTube audience of over 290,000 subscribers.
Since launching the channel in January 2020, Rob has built a devoted following by showcasing tiny homes, unique stays, and transparent behind-the-scenes looks into what it really takes to run a successful Airbnb business.
Rob is also the founder of several STR-focused companies, including Funkit Interiors, a bold design firm that helps hosts build scroll-stopping, high-performing listings. He’s the former co-host of BiggerPockets, the world’s most popular real estate podcast with over 5 million monthly downloads.
With a portfolio of 40+ short-term rentals, Rob now mentors a community of 3,000+ students, helping them start, optimize, and scale their own Airbnb businesses from scratch.
